About Course

A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Public Accounting and Finance aims to provide students with an understanding of accounting principles and practices relevant to public sector accounting, including fund accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Candidates are eligible to join in year one of study if they possess an MSCE with six credits including English and Mathematics or its equivalent such as the IGSCE and GSCE.
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience in related field after obtaining the relevant Advanced Diploma/Diploma qualification.(for Mature entry)
  • Mature entry candidates can join year 2 or 3 depending on their qualifications.(for Mature entry)
  • Satisfy Jubilee’s requirements of Assessment of Prior Learning through an interview where necessary.(for Mature entry)

How to Apply

  • Application forms can be obtained from the University (near Shoprite) Lilongwe, Old Town or downloaded from the University’s website www.jubileeuniversity.ac.mw.
  • On submission, all completed application forms should show evidence of a bank payment of an application fee of MK5, 000 which is NOT refundable into the following Jubilee University
    Bank Account Nos: 17717561 at NBS Bank or 9100001008541, Standard Bank.
  • The application forms should clearly indicate the programme being applied for and should reach the following address

Fees Structure

The Fees Structure for the First and Second Year: K400,000 per semister and for the Third and Fourth Year: K500,000 per Semister.

Additional Costs

  1. Application Fee: K5,000 (Paid once).
  2. Regulations Fee: K20,000 (paid once).
  3. Practicals: K10,000
